*Until things are back to normal, it may be a good idea to run Statewide KY searches instead of county level searches in Kentucky. *Note – there is a $25 state fee for KY Statewide searches, in addition to our fee.

Although officially closed to the public, searches in the following counties can be done through court clerks with the additional court fees as follows: 
Calhoun (Court fee of $5 per name)

Eaton (Court fee of $8 per name, plus $1 per      page for any cases found)

Iron (Court fee of $40 per name, in both courts)

Lapeer (Court fee of $10 per name) 

In the following counties clerk counters are closed to the public. Searches can still be done. However, files cannot be ordered and searches requiring clerk assistance can not be completed until further notice: Allegan, Antrim, Barry, Berrien, Cass, Cheboygan, Genesee, Grand Traverse, Gratiot, Ingham, Iron, Isabella, Jackson, Kalamazoo, Kent, Leelanau, Macomb, Monroe, Montmorency, Muskegon, Oakland, Presque Isle, Shiawassee, Van Buren, Washtenaw, Wayne

In the following counties there is a great reduction in staff, causing delays, until further notice: Alcona, Alpena, Arenac, Baraga, Benzie, Charlevoix, Clare, Clinton, Dickenson, Gladwin, Hillsdale, Houghton, Huron, Ionia, Iosco, Keweenaw, Lake, Luce, Manistee, Marquette, Mecosta, Menominee, Missaukee, Montcalm, Oceana, Ogemaw, Ontonagon, Osceola, Oscoda, Sanilac, Tuscola, Wexford

In the following counties PAT’s are inaccessible to the public, and there are no searches being done by clerks until further notice: Alger, Bay, Calhoun, Clare, Eaton, Gladwin, Lapeer,  Mackinac, Manistee, Newaygo, Saint Joseph, Schoolcraft

Until things are back to normal, for the above listed counties, it may be a good idea to run Statewide MI searches instead of county level searches. The Statewide MI search through the MI State Police isn’t the greatest in terms of coverage and reporting, but it is something. *Note – there is a $10 state fee for MI Statewide searches, in addition to our fee.

  • Online using the Promis Gavel System; not as complete as the court house terminals Promis Gavel System, but still able to match records through Name/ DOB year. Cases available are felony convictions only.
  • Criminal checks through State Police records. These records are more costly, but will fulfill county court house check.
